My old foreman told me to never take a roofing job for less than $500 a square, and turning down that cheap $350 job last month saved me from a total nightmare client.

Has anyone else had a hard price rule that saved their butt?

Cheap price usually means a huge pain in the neck.

My buddy's "no weekend calls" rule saved his sanity, and @iris574 is right about cheap work bringing headaches.

That $500 rule is a life saver, and @patw85 has the right idea too.
