A bad batch of treated lumber cost me a whole day's work

Last Tuesday, I started a deck rebuild in Springfield using a pallet of 2x6 pressure-treated pine from a local supplier. Halfway through laying the joists, I noticed a serious bow in every third board, some with a 3/4-inch curve over 8 feet. I had to stop, pull everything up, and drive back to the yard to sort it out. Has anyone else had a run of bad lumber from a usually reliable source recently?

Bad lumber from a reliable source" is the worst. It's like your favorite coffee shop suddenly serving mud. Makes you question everything you thought you knew.

Did the yard give you any trouble about taking the bowed boards back?

Honestly depends on the yard's mood that day. Tbh I've had them swap out a whole bunk no questions asked, and other times they act like you're trying to return a used car. Ngl, taking pictures right when you unload the truck is the only real proof you have.
