Picked a folding e-bike over a full-size one for city commuting
I went with a folding e-bike for my 3-mile commute downtown because I can take it on the bus if the weather turns. It's been 2 months and I've saved about $40 a month on parking tickets alone. Anyone else found folding bikes worth the smaller wheels?

Oh man, I gotta push back on this a little. In my experience those smaller wheels are a real pain on anything but perfect pavement. I hit a pothole on a folding bike once and almost went over the handlebars. Plus the ride quality is way rougher than a full size bike, especially if your city has crap roads like mine. I know the bus thing is convenient but I'd rather just lock up a normal bike and not deal with the folding mechanism wearing out over time. Just my two cents though, whatever works for you.

Best decision I made, love being able to fold it up and walk it into stores without locking it outside.

@grantschmidt until you try folding it up with a bag of chips in each hand, then it's a whole new adventure.
