Flew to a climate conference in Phoenix last summer - changed my whole view on offsets
Sat through a panel where a local farmer showed her 10-year drought data. It was scary. Then the organizer asked how many of us actually changed our travel habits after buying offsets. Maybe 5 hands went up. Most of us just paid the fee and felt good. Now I only fly for emergencies and take trains for everything else.

Only 5 hands out of a whole room did the actual work?

Been in that exact situation @veram99, watched like 3 people carry a whole group project while the rest just nodded along. It's wild how some folks can sit in a room full of people and contribute absolutely nothing without feeling awkward. Reminds me of a team I was on where one person literally just scrolled their phone for two hours while the rest of us figured everything out.

Right? At that point it's like, congrats on mastering the art of being invisible in plain sight. Should be a TED Talk.
