Can we talk about the switch from pre-ground to grinding your own beans?
I used to buy Folgers ground coffee for years, but after a friend in Seattle insisted I try fresh grinding, I bought a $50 grinder last fall. Now I can't go back, but I'm curious if anyone thinks the extra step and cost is actually worth the taste difference.

Taste the difference immediately. Once you start grinding, the old stuff just tastes stale. Worth the hassle every single time.

That "can't go back" feeling is real, and for me the taste difference is totally worth the extra step.

That taste difference is worth it, and a cheap hand grinder makes the extra step pretty easy.

Remember my buddy who swore by his Keurig? He finally tried grinding his own after seeing @olivia_allen's posts, and now he says his old coffee tastes like brown water.
