I finally got my friend to stop calling every superhero movie a 'Marvel movie' after he called The Batman one last night.

Yeah, I've had that same talk with my brother... it took him calling the new Superman movie a Marvel film for it to finally click. Some people just see a cape and their brain goes straight to Iron Man.

Ever try the "shared universe" trick? I just say "yeah, that's the DC one, like Batman" and it seems to stick better than explaining what it isn't.
