Trying to find a specific issue for a friend's kid took me two days
My buddy's son wanted Amazing Spider-Man #252 for his birthday, the first black suit. I figured it would be easy to find. I checked three local shops in Austin, then spent hours online digging through forums and auction sites. Every copy I found was either way too pricey or in rough shape. It took me two full days of looking to finally track down a decent one for a fair price. Why is it so hard to find a key issue that isn't graded and sealed in plastic? What's your go-to spot for hunting down single issues?

Last weekend I spent twenty minutes looking for my car keys. They were in the fridge next to the orange juice. I swear things hide in plain sight just to mess with us. My friend loses his phone daily, usually while he's talking on it. We're all just wandering around looking for stuff.

My dad once spent an hour searching for his glasses. He was wearing them the whole time. He got so mad he almost threw his hat, which he was also holding. It's like our brains just check out sometimes. We're all running on half power, looking for the stuff we're already using.
