PSA: Switching to a 4-day schedule for my concrete crew

We moved to four 10-hour days about three months ago on a big strip mall job in Springfield. The first week was rough, but by week two, we were finishing pours a full day faster. The crew is less tired, and we haven't had a single call-off since the change. Has anyone else made a big schedule shift that actually paid off?
