Warning: I saw a huge drop in dust buildup after switching to positive pressure in my builds
My home office rig used to need a full clean every 4 months, but after setting the intake fans to run faster than the exhaust, it's been over 8 months and the filters are still mostly clean. Has anyone else seen this kind of long-term difference with their client machines?

Yeah jamesf26, it's wild how just flipping the fan speeds makes such a big difference.

Oh wow, that's a huge difference! I switched my main PC to positive pressure a few years back and it was a total game changer. I used to have to wipe down the inside every couple months, and now I just clean the front filter every six months or so. It really does keep the dust out.

I mean, I've tried positive pressure in a few builds and honestly didn't see a huge change. My old case still got dusty around the rear vents and GPU bracket after a few months. Maybe it depends a lot on your room or the case filters.
