That sloped driveway I poured last month should have taken 5 hours
I had to do a 30-foot sloped driveway in Phoenix with a 4-inch drop every 10 feet, and the water kept pooling no matter what I did with the screed. Ended up pulling the mud twice and re-mixing because the grade was off by a quarter inch in the middle section. How many extra hours have you burned chasing a dumb mistake like that?

Four and a half hours extra on a driveway that should take maybe three because I forgot to double check the expansion joint placement. Put the damn thing in the wrong spot and had to saw cut it out and repour a whole section. Nothing like watching fresh concrete harden while you stand there wondering if you should just fill the gap with caulk and hope nobody notices. Phoenix heat makes these mistakes feel extra dumb since you're fighting the clock before the mud sets up. At least your water pooled somewhere you could see it mine was hidden until the homeowner pointed at it a week later.
