My editor told me to cut my intro down to under 10 seconds, and I hated it

Honestly, I argued with him for a week because I loved my 30-second cinematic openings. Ngl, my retention rate jumped 15% on the very next video after I finally listened. Has anyone else had to swallow their pride over a simple edit that actually worked?
