Saw a Twitch streamer hit 0 viewers after 6 hours of silence
Last week I popped into a small streamer's channel around 2 AM and watched them play Valorant for 6 straight hours without saying a single word. They had 0 viewers the entire time, not even me because they had no chat interaction. How do you build an audience when you're basically just a ghost playing video games?

Wow, that's such a lonely way to spend 6 hours... It's like they forgot that streaming is supposed to be a two-way thing, you know? I've noticed this same boring silence in so many places lately, like people just going through the motions without actually connecting. You see it at coffee shops where the barista just stares at their phone instead of saying hi, or in checkout lines where nobody bothers to make small talk anymore. To me it's like everyone's forgotten that putting yourself out there, even with a simple "hey how's it going," is what actually makes things happen...

Did you catch that article about how most new streamers quit within three months because they treat it like just recording instead of performing? I read somewhere that viewers will usually leave within 30 seconds if the streamer isn't talking or reacting to the game... It's like they don't realize they're basically running a one-person talk show with video game visuals. Even just narrating what you're doing or why you made a bad play gives people something to latch onto.

Narrate every single thing you're doing in game for at least 2 hours straight, it helped me finally get my first chatter lol.
