I was sure reposting old content was lazy, but my boss made me try it for a month and our traffic went up 22%.
Has anyone else had a strategy they hated actually work out, and how do you decide what to bring back?

Sounds like @alice336's friend found a grudgingly useful pattern.

My friend was so against running ads on social media, said it felt spammy... but her small shop was struggling. She finally tried a tiny budget for a week, just boosting posts about her handmade mugs. Ended up getting three big custom orders from it, which never happened before. She still doesn't love doing it, but now she plans one ad a month for her new items.

Wait, is your friend @alice336 really the same person who was so against ads? Honestly, I used to think exactly like her. I thought social media ads were just scams or a way to annoy people. But hearing that her tiny budget actually got her real custom orders totally changed my view. Ngl, that story makes me want to try boosting a post for my own little hobby thing I do on the side. Tbh, I figured big accounts were the only ones who got anything from ads, but her experience proves even small efforts can work. I'm glad she found a way to make it work for her without going overboard, just one ad a month sounds super manageable.
