For three years straight, I'd grab a leftover slice from the fridge every morning while he made eggs, and he'd call it 'sad and soggy'. Last month, I finally got him to try a cold pepperoni slice from our local spot, Sal's, and he admitted it hits different. Ever think canned tuna on toast was gross? I did until my buddy made it with hot sauce and now I'm hooked.

Remembered my uncle adding pickle juice to his tuna salad once, which sounded awful but actually made it way less dry. Now I always keep a jar of the brine in the fridge just for that.

My dad used to say microwaved popcorn was a lazy, fake snack. He only liked the kind you make on the stove. I made him try the good microwave kind, the one with real butter flavor, and he got quiet for a minute. Now he buys it for himself when he watches the game.
