Hot take: that Karen who yelled at me about her highlights still haunts me a year later
Back in October 2023 I had this lady come in near Seattle, she brought a photo of some influencer with platinum blonde hair. I told her straight up it would take three sessions to get there without frying her curls. She said I was just trying to upsell her. She kept saying she knew better because she watched YouTube tutorials. After I did the first round she posted a nasty review saying I ruined her hair. Spent a whole weekend crying about it. Has anyone else had a client who thought they knew more than you because of a video?

A client in Portland showed me a TikTok filter and expected me to match it in one session.

lol joseph_adams76 that's wild because a filter is literally just code doing the work for you, not something a human can replicate in real time.
