I think everyone's wrong about password managers being the only safe option

Last week, a teacher at my school in Austin had their master password vault get locked out after a key file got corrupted on their laptop. Honestly, it took our IT guy three days to get them back into their own accounts because everything was in that one place. Has anyone else had a bad experience that made them keep a physical backup list somewhere safe?

Oh man, that's the exact nightmare scenario that keeps me up at night. Putting all your digital keys in one locker and then losing the locker's only key. My system is a chaotic mix of manager, brain, and a very well hidden piece of paper for the truly important stuff. Feels like you can't win either way.

Used to think a password manager was the only sane choice. Then my phone bricked itself during an update and I was locked out of everything for two days. Now I keep a backup list in a fireproof lockbox, because apparently tech can just decide to die.

Ever tried writing them as a recovery sheet and stashing it with a relative, @ruby_rivera76?
