Just realized I've been putting bowls in backwards for 10 years
My roommate walked in while I was loading the dishwasher last night and burst out laughing. She pointed out that I had all the bowls facing outward, handles and all, instead of angled toward the center spray arm. I argued with her for a solid 5 minutes until she pulled one out and showed me the puddle of water sitting inside. Tbh I thought that's what the top rack was for - soaking up leftover sauce. Has anyone else had a loading habit they just never questioned?

Wait, you've been loading bowls sideways for a decade and thought the puddle was intentional? That's like using a coffee cup as a pencil holder and wondering why your pens get wet.

Oh man, that hits close to home. I did something similar with my dishwasher for years - I was putting all the silverware facing up in the basket and wondering why some spoons came out with little spots. My wife finally showed me you're supposed to mix the handles up and down to stop them nesting together. Felt like a complete idiot but hey, you learn something new every day. Your mileage may vary but I bet your bowls will come out way drier now.
