Appreciation post: I finally gave peel and stick tile a chance in my laundry room
I always thought it looked cheap, but after my friend redid her kitchen backsplash with it and it held up for 2 years, I tried it. The specific brand she used, Smart Tiles, went down in an afternoon and looks way better than the old linoleum. Has anyone else had good luck with it in a high-moisture area like a bathroom?

I used to think peel and stick was just a renter's quick fix too, but after putting Smart Tiles in my own laundry room last year I've totally changed my tune. Good point from @paigep20 about checking the warranty, I made sure mine said it was rated for laundry rooms before I bought it.

Check the brand's warranty for wet areas first.

Seriously, most warranties are useless fine print. They'll find any reason to deny a claim, like calling a splash "improper use". You're better off buying for known durability, not the paper promise.
