My DIY plant stand actually holds plants now
Was sure it would collapse under the first pot. But it's sturdy and looks cute.

You know, I always figured homemade plant stands were just accidents waiting to happen. Seeing yours turn out sturdy and cute actually makes me want to try building something myself. What kind of tools did you even need for a project like that? It's nice when something you put together actually works the way it's supposed to.

Read a blog about needing just a drill and saw.

Actually that blog post is sorta misleading. For MOST stuff you DO need just a drill and saw, but a decent tape measure and square are NON-NEGOTIABLE if you want things actually square.
