Found a shortcut in AutoCAD that saved me 2 hours on a floor plan
I was working on a big office layout last week and kept having to manually align every wall section. Out of frustration I tried the MVSETUP command for the first time, and it automated the whole viewport scaling setup. I finished the draft in half the time. Anyone else have a hidden command they stumbled on that made their day easier?

It's funny how stumbling on one little trick can totally change your whole workflow... it's like that moment when you realize you've been doing something the hard way for years just because nobody told you there was a faster option. I've noticed this pattern everywhere, from kitchen hacks to how I sort my email, it's always the simple stuff that makes the biggest difference. Makes you wonder what other time-savers are hiding in plain sight that we just haven't tripped over yet.

The email sorting thing clicked for me when I realized I could batch process everything in 10 minute blocks at the end of the day instead of jumping on every notification as it came in. Same with woodworking, I spent years fighting with hand saws before someone showed me a $20 Japanese pull saw that cuts cleaner with half the effort. Those little switches add up so fast you almost feel dumb for not figuring it out sooner.

Learning these little tricks is overrated honestly. I've seen people waste more time trying to remember the "perfect shortcut" than they would have just doing it the normal way. The time you spend hunting for these commands and memorizing them adds up too. Plus half the time the shortcut doesn't work exactly right for what you need and you end up fixing it manually anyway. Sometimes the old way is just fine if you're already fast at it.
