Found a weird trick for a sticky door operator on a 90s Dover
The rollers were binding, so I tried a light spray of silicone on the guide channels, not the rollers themselves. It actually made the chatter worse until I cleaned it all off and used a dry graphite lube. Anyone have a better fix for that specific chattering slide?

Wasn't there an old tech bulletin about the roller hanger brackets getting bent on those? I read a forum post ages ago where a guy had the same chatter, and the dry lube only helped for a week. He found the bracket that holds the roller was slightly warped, so it was making contact at a weird angle. Straightening that out and then using a tiny bit of white lithium grease on the channel finally fixed it for him. Might be worth checking the alignment before anything else.

Yeah, that part about the bracket being bent is spot on. I fought the same chatter on a Dover last month and it was exactly that. The hanger was just a little off and no amount of lube fixed it. I did what umamartin said and cleaned everything really well first. After I bent the bracket back straight, I used a moly paste and it has been smooth ever since. The paste is way better than spray for staying in the channel.

Clean the guide channels with a solvent first, get all the old grease out. Then try a moly paste on the slide, not a spray. The paste stays put and doesn't attract dust like graphite can. Had one last year that needed the rollers adjusted after the lube.
