That 4am call for a stuck elevator at the Grandview Hotel was the best job I've had this year.

The manager was so thankful he gave our crew a $200 tip and a free weekend stay. It was a simple sheave alignment issue, but the way they treated us after made all the difference. When was the last time a client showed real appreciation for a late-night fix?

Our shop got called to the Grandview last month for a similar late night issue... a motor coupling. They watched us like we were stealing the copper wire. The manager signed the work order and shut his office door without a word. That free weekend stay sounds like a fantasy to me.
