A client in my chair last month pointed out my extraction technique was causing her pain
She was very clear, saying 'that specific pinching motion on my cheek really stings.' I switched to using a comedone extractor with even, rolling pressure instead of squeezing, and her comfort improved immediately. Has anyone else gotten feedback that made you change a hands-on method?

Wait, you were pinching cheeks without a tool before?

Yeah I used to think pinching with your fingers was fine, that tools were just extra stuff you didn't really need. But after trying it once at a friend's place I totally get it now, your fingers just don't have the same control after the first few minutes. It's one of those things that seems unnecessary until you actually feel the difference.

Oh man, it's a total game changer. Your fingers just get tired and slip around after a while, honestly. A basic tool makes it so much easier to get it right.
