Always thought glue-on shoes were a gimmick until a client proved me wrong
Had a older gentleman bring in an OTTB with thin walls and cracked hooves. Said he wanted glue-ons for the front pair. I tried to talk him into nails. He insisted. That was 8 weeks ago and the horse is trotting sound with good growth. I still prefer nails but I can't argue with results like that. Anyone else change their mind on something after seeing it work firsthand?

Glue ons saved us too after trying everything else. That mare of yours must be feeling a LOT better now. It's amazing how much the right shoe can turn things around.

A buddy of mine tried glue-ons on his gelding after the farrier basically gave up on keeping nails in those thin-walled feet. Horse went from three-legged lame to trotting around the pasture in a week flat. Makes you wonder how many horses are just one good shoe away from being sound.
