Had to choose between cotton duck and waxed canvas for an apron
I was making work aprons for a trade show booth and spent a week going back and forth. Went with waxed canvas because it sheds sawdust easier. First day on the job, a customer spilled coffee on me and it beaded right off. Do you guys pick fabric based on looks or function first?

Function EVERY time for work stuff, looks are just a bonus. It's funny how we overthink gear until real life proves the choice with a coffee spill or a splinter.

Nah, looking good matters too because if I hate how my tools look, I won't even want to use them.

Three houses I sprayed last week had gear in perfect shape that never even got used.
