Switched from Facebook Marketplace to a local cash buyer group for my old tools
Got $400 for my drill press in under a day, compared to two weeks of lowball offers online. The guy who runs the group in Akron just sends a list of what people want to buy each week. Anyone know other groups like this for electronics?

My drill press is sitting in my garage next to the drill bit collection I never actually organized. I told myself I'd sort them by size when I sold it, but the buyer showed up before I even swept up the sawdust. There's an electronics group in Canton that used to do the same thing, but the guy running it got overwhelmed and shut it down a few months ago. Probably because people like me kept asking if they wanted a half-working toaster from 1997.
