Found a weird trick to speed up my kraut ferment by 2 days
I stopped by a local farm stand last weekend and the old guy there told me to add a single grape leaf on top of the cabbage. Cut my usual 2 week ferment down to 12 days and the crunch is way better, has anyone else tried this?

Oh man, I've been there too. What worked for me was taking it slow and watching a couple of tutorial videos first before trying anything hands-on.
