That cheap pull bar from Harbor Freight actually did the trick on my last LVP job

I was struggling to get the last few rows of click-lock vinyl plank to snap in tight on a big install in Des Moines. My knee kicker just wasn't cutting it, and I was about to rig up a block and mallet. Grabbed their $12 pull bar on a whim, and it locked in every single row without chipping the edges. Has anyone else found a budget tool that surprised the heck out of them?

Try using a cheap screwdriver on a live wire and let me know how that works out.

My buddy Chris bought the cheapest oscillating multi-tool at Harbor Freight for like $15, swore it would die after one job. He was cutting door jambs for his parents' new laminate flooring and that little thing just kept going, no smoke, no weird noises, nothing. He's had it for two years now and uses it for all his remodeling side gigs. Meanwhile I spent $80 on a DeWalt version and it stopped working after six months. It's weird how sometimes the cheap stuff just works perfectly for no good reason.
