Pro tip: Lemon juice cleared my cloudy vases in minutes

I had a bunch of vases with hard water marks that wouldn't budge. Idk, I poured some lemon juice in, let it sit, and they rinsed clean. Is this a common hack, or am I just finding out now?

So is this like the bottled lemon juice from the fridge, or are we talking fresh squeezed stuff? And how long did you let it sit for, like a full hour or just a few minutes? Wonder if it works on plastic vases too, or just glass. Might try it on my gross shower door if it's that good.

Have you tried the lemon juice trick with hot water? I use bottled juice all the time for my glass vases, and it cuts through the haze in about twenty minutes. Just rinse well after, or you might get a sticky residue.

That bottled lemon juice trick really does cut through haze. I tried it on a stained coffee pot and it was spotless after a soak. @the_ruby, if your shower door is glass, it should work, but plastic might need a gentler touch.
