Rant: My delivery van broke down with a $3,000 wedding arch in the back

I was on the 405 freeway heading to a Malibu wedding when my van overheated, so I had to call the groom to help me unload everything onto the shoulder and then pay a crazy tow fee to get the arch there only 20 minutes before the ceremony started, has anyone else had a vehicle disaster with a fragile piece on board?

Actually, nightmares build character. That kind of stress forces you to adapt and solve problems faster. Some of my best work came from situations everyone else called impossible. What looks like a disaster is often just a tough lesson.

Oh wow, okay, so we're just calling all our trauma "character building" now. I guess my sleep paralysis demon is actually my life coach. Next time I'm jolted awake at 3 a.m., I'll just thank it for the personal growth opportunity. This feels like the kind of thing people say after they've already made it through the bad part.
