Been using a number 4 rammer for core prints for like two years now

My foreman walked by yesterday, pointed at my work, and just said 'you know that's for facing sand, right?' I felt my whole face get hot realizing I mixed up the tools. How many other basic things are we all just quietly doing wrong?

My buddy Dave in the machine shop spent six months using a deburring tool as a scraper. He'd clean parts with it, everything. The lead hand finally asked why his station had three of them when they only ordered one. The look on his face when he realized he'd been slowly wrecking a precision tool on basic cleanup was priceless. We still call him 'Deburr Dave' sometimes.

You ever notice how some tools just get used for way more than theyre meant for? I remember @miles946 once told me he saw a guy using a dial caliper to pry open a paint can. Took three of them before someone figured out why the measurements kept drifting. At least Deburr Dave was consistent with it.
