A client in Denver told me my project updates were 'too much noise'...
They said to just email a single line every Friday with the status, so I switched from daily paragraphs to that. Anyone else get told to simplify their communication?

My last client update was a five slide PowerPoint on font color choices. I sent it on a Tuesday. The reply was just a sad face emoji. Now my weekly email says "Still green." and nothing else. It's working way better.
