Took a $500 flat rate job for a 'simple' website. Client added 14 rounds of revisions after sign-off.

Agreed to a fixed price for a basic 5-page site. Got it done in a week. Sent final files. Then the emails started. 'Can we just tweak the logo size?' 'My wife thinks the blue is wrong.' 'Our intern had an idea for a whole new section.' Said no after the third ask, pointed to our contract. They got nasty. Threatened a bad review everywhere. Ended up doing half the extra work just to make it stop. Lost two days I could have billed elsewhere. My fault for not having a clearer revision limit in writing. How many revisions do you guys put in your contracts now? Like a hard number.

Lost two days I could have billed elsewhere" is the real kicker. That's why my contract now has a hard limit of two rounds included.

Two rounds sounds generous honestly. I had a client once who demanded seven rounds of revisions on a single logo. Seven. It was basically a whole new project by the end.
