Can we talk about the coffee shop in Portland where the barista called my order 'very millennial'?

I got an oat milk latte (which, okay, fair) but the Gen Z kid next to me just ordered a large black coffee with three espresso shots. Is the fancy drink order a real generational divide or just a funny stereotype? What's your go-to order?

Ugh, iris574, you are so right. What's the deal with that? I had a barista once roll her eyes because I asked for extra whip. Like, it's on the menu, it's not a crime! My move now is to just stare back blankly and repeat my order super slow. They usually get the hint and just make the drink. Saves my energy for the real battles.
