My millennial coworker tried to show me a 'life hack' for my cracked phone screen with clear nail polish. It made the touchscreen completely stop working.

Oh man, remember when screen protectors were like five bucks? My friend did something similar with super glue on a tiny crack. It seeped in and totally bricked the touch sensors, turned her whole screen into a weird, glossy paperweight. She was so mad she just used it as a tiny mirror for a week.
