Spent $45 on a 'vintage' polaroid camera my gen z cousin said was cool
I saw all these posts about film coming back and thought it would be fun. Bought it online, got the expensive film, and the thing just ate my first three packs. My cousin took one look and said 'oh yeah, those are known to break.' I'm out the camera cost and like $30 in film. Do millennials just fall for aesthetic traps easier?

Honestly, that's just bad luck with a single purchase (not a generational thing). Every hobby has expensive learning curves at the start.

Bad luck can still be a generational pattern though.

Ugh, my buddy bought a whole fancy camera setup before realizing he hates editing photos.
