inPSA: I found that using public bike shares in cities is cheaper than taxis.
What's the deal with bike share reliability in different cities? I've seen some places where the docks are always empty or full, lol. Does that mess with the whole cost-saving thing if you can't even get a bike when you need one? And what about extra fees for going over time limits? Seems like the cheap price might not always add up if you're stuck paying more for being late.

inHot take: Paywalled diagnostic tools are killing small shops
Read an article about John Deere tractors doing the same thing. Farmers can't even reset a warning light without the dealer software. Now it's spreading to everything. Laptops, phones, even some car modules need a cloud login to diagnose. Feels like they're turning basic repair into a rental service.

inSalt air in my neighborhood is wrecking my exterior woodwork
Honestly, I was just reading about this online. Fiber cement siding seems to handle salt air really well since it doesn't rot or corrode. Tbh, that's probably what I'd look into for a long term fix.
