Rant: The delivery driver had a point about my buffer technique
I was polishing a black sedan in the shop bay, and the delivery guy dropped off some supplies. He paused and said the buffer was leaving swirl marks because I was moving too fast. At first, I brushed it off, but later I saw the marks under the light. I slowed down my passes and the finish came out mirror smooth. That small talk made me rethink how I handle every detail job now. It's funny how someone outside the trade can spot something you miss. Since then, I've paid more attention to speed and pressure. My work has improved, and customers say it looks great.
