Totally agree with you @reesemoore. My boyfriend did the same thing, called me out for just mindlessly scrolling through Twitter during movies. I didn't even realize how much I was missing until we started putting phones face down on the side table. Now we actually talk about the plot and make jokes together instead of just sitting in silence while I stare at my screen. It's WAY better. We even started betting on who can spot the twist first now. Big upgrade honestly.

Ngl, I used to be exactly like that. I fought my partner on getting a dish drying mat for like a year, thought it was pointless when we had a rack. Finally caved and bought one on a whim, and honestly now I cant imagine not having it. Makes me look back at all the other dumb hills I died on and wonder how much easier life could have been if I just listened sooner.
