Pro tip: We used ground-penetrating radar on a dig in New Mexico instead of just old maps and it was a game changer.

The radar showed us a whole new set of walls and pits about 2 meters down that the maps didn't have at all. It saved us weeks of digging in the wrong spots and let us focus on the real finds right away. Has anyone else had a big win with a new tool that changed how you start a project?

That Lidar scan in Belize found a whole lost city.

Yeah the whole lost city thing is wild. It makes me wonder how much stuff is still hidden right under our feet. Like, we walk around thinking we know everything, but the ground could have a whole other world in it. We focus so much on what's new and next, but the past is still full of secrets. These finds remind me we don't have it all figured out, not even close.

Lol my biggest win was just remembering to charge my metal detector. Felt like a genius when it actually beeped.
