Hit 10,000 photo edits processed in Lightroom last night. Still feels like an amateur.

Have you ever tried going back through your first 1000 edits to see how much you've actually improved? I did that last week and it was eye opening. The stuff I thought was amazing back then looks so rough now. You get better in tiny steps you don't notice until you compare. Also 10,000 edits is a real milestone, that's a lot of practice. Give yourself some credit, the amateur feeling might just mean you're pushing yourself to get even better.

You ever heard a friend describe the same thing? @xena_fox39 one of my buddies dug through his old photos and said it felt like watching a stranger mess up for a few hundred tries.

Hang on, ten thousand edits? That's wild. I can barely keep track of what I did last week, let alone that many. Going back through my early stuff sounds painful, I bet those first few hundred look like a totally different person made them. It's kind of scary to think about how much of the rough work is still sitting there in the mud.
