Finally got the hang of blending that tricky pearl white on a 2018 Civic bumper

For months my blends on that specific Honda color always had a slight line you could see in direct sun. Last week I tried adding an extra coat of midcoat and letting it flash for a full 8 minutes before the clear. The difference was night and day, no more hard edge. Anyone have a different method for tri-coat whites that works for them?

That full 8-minute flash time you mentioned is the real key most people rush.

Yeah, @park.abby is right about that. I've found the real trick is to time it with something else you have to do, like cleaning up your gear. That way you're not just staring at the clock.
