Heard a podcast host say something wild about broken links
I was listening to the 'Marketing Over Coffee' podcast yesterday and the guest said they found over 2,000 broken links on a single university website. They used a free tool called Screaming Frog to find them all. It made me think how many link building chances we miss by not checking for broken stuff first. Has anyone else tried this kind of broken link building lately?

Two thousand broken links on one site is crazy. I use Screaming Frog too, it's eye opening what you can find. Makes you wonder how many sites are just full of dead ends.

That's the digital version of a house with two thousand broken windows, @west.henry. It feels like some sites are just held together with old gum and hope. You find one broken link, then it's a whole spiderweb of dead ends.
