Just realized my security camera's motion alerts were set off by a neighbor's new wind chime.
It was driving me nuts for a week until I saw the footage, so I adjusted the detection zone. Anyone know a good way to block a specific moving object like that without losing coverage of my driveway?

Lowering the sensitivity can still miss real motion, so adjusting the zone is actually the smarter fix.

Totally! I did the same thing with a tree branch that kept setting off my porch cam.

Honestly, you might be overthinking the detection zone. I had a similar thing with a flag. Instead of carving up the zone, I just lowered the sensitivity for that specific area in the app. The camera still watches the whole driveway, but it ignores small, fast movements like a chime swinging. Took two minutes and saved me from missing a real alert because I blocked off a corner.
