Spent $800 on a new tube roller and it's already got a wobble

Got it for a big job in Toledo last month, and the main shaft isn't running true. Now I'm stuck trying to fix it before the next bend. Anyone know a good repair shop in the Midwest that won't take a month?

Had the same problem with a used roller last year. Took it to Precision Machine Works in Fort Wayne, they shimmed the bearing housing and got it running true in three days. Cost me about $200 for the fix.

That three-day turnaround is a dream. My own attempt at shimming a bearing housing looked like a kindergartner's art project, and I spent a week just getting the roller to stop sounding like a bag of wrenches. Two hundred bucks sounds like a bargain to avoid the kind of shame that makes you hide from your own tools.

I heard Precision Machine Works in Fort Wayne does good work on those.

Did you check if the base is bolted to a level floor?
