Warning: I almost ditched my old Makita drill for a cheaper brand, but a trick from a contractor saved me $200.

Classic. We're trained to replace, not repair.

Planned obsolescence is a feature, not a bug.

Feel that so hard. My old laptop just needed a new battery but the store said they'd have to replace the whole bottom case. My dad's lawnmower too, a simple carb clean turned into a push for a brand new model. It's like they make things hard to fix on purpose.
