I bought a $150 specialty seam roller for a big commercial job and it was a total waste. My old $20 one works just as well.

Why not just return the expensive one?

Oh man, @julia_lee, I totally get that. I used to think the exact same way... always just return the pricey item. But last year I kept something cheap that didn't fit right, and it just sat in my closet forever. Wasted money anyway. Now if it's not perfect, back it goes no matter the cost. Saves me from that nagging feeling of buying the wrong thing.
