TIL a trick for finding old forum posts that changed my view on a big theory

I was trying to find a specific post from 2012 about the 'Philadelphia Experiment' but the search on that old forum was broken. A friend told me to use Google and type 'site:oldforumname.com Philadelphia Experiment 2012' and it worked right away. I found the exact thread, and reading the old arguments made me see how the story had changed over the years. What's a piece of lost info you wish you could find from an old site?

Right? Those old forums had such a weird vibe. I mean, remember spending hours on like, the Time Cube site or reading about the Philadelphia Experiment? It felt like you were uncovering some secret truth, even if it was total nonsense. Now everything's just a polished YouTube video or a tweet thread. It's not the same kind of rabbit hole.
