Man, I was the same way. Totally wrote it off as marketing fluff for people with too much money. Then I had to haul a tall, empty container through a crazy crosswind on I-10. That little light on the dash flickering to life was the only thing keeping me between the lines. Felt my heart in my throat the whole time. Never called it a gimmick again.
