Rant: I tried painting my basement with a roller vs. a sprayer and the sprayer saved me about 6 hours of work
The roller gave me a better finish on the concrete walls but the sprayer cut my time from 9 hours to 3 hours and I'd rather have my weekend back lol, has anyone else found a faster method for basement ceilings?

lol try a drywall texture hopper on a cheap pancake compressor, way faster than roller and cleaner than sprayer

Oh man, you're totally onto something there. I've been using that setup for years on my own house and it works way better than I expected. The key is getting the consistency right, you gotta thin the mud a little more than usual so it doesn't clog or spit. But once you dial that in, you can knock out a whole room in like 20 minutes with way less mess than a real sprayer. Plus, pancake compressors are so cheap and easy to store, it's a no brainer for small jobs.
